vitzen darkness begins
The reality of Vitzen must be accepted -- John Timothy
A Gaul of Mysterious Origin
Vicke Van Vitzen
Historical Origins (Documented)
The van Vitzen family came to Sweden from Holstein in the 14th century. Vicke van Vitzen the Elder became one of King Albrekt´s most loyal men. He was the Bailiff of Kalmar Castle from 1366 to 1389. No-one else held that position for such a long time.
Vicke was a member of the King´s Council and had a lot of influence on Swedish politics. He was a master of intrigue, and had a great thirst for power. Among other things, he may have planned the murder of the Bishop of Linköping, Gottskalk Falkdal, in 1374. Vicke was also part of the endeavour to have Birgitta Birgersdotter canonised.
Vicke was one of King Albrekt´s loyal knights. When Queen Margareta mobilised an army to fight Albrekt, Vicke at once came to the defence of his King, with his horse and his armour. Vicke the Elder was killed at the Battle of Falköping, and Albrekt´s army was defeated.
After the death of Vicke the Elder, his property was taken over by his relatives. Among them was his nephew by the same name, Vicke van Vitzen the Younger.

Skins, by rules of belief, should be hung up stretched on trees
Noel van vitzen
N.Vitzen first described yakut shamans and sacrifices in the extensive work "About Northern and East Tartariah" (1696). He writes: "When somebody is ill or dies, Yakuts ask shaman to “conclude" a contract with the devil about that… With loose flowing hair the shaman shouts in all throat, strikes in a drum, falls down to the ground and lies for a long time in a dead faint… When the patient feels better, he usually pays off cattle, which shaman cuts and eats. Skins, by rules of belief, should be hung up stretched on trees"
Vincent van vitzen
Vincent is the first Vitzen to begin to speak of Jahola. He is believed to be VINCENTIUS, however due to manipulation from the Church in Rome, his Bewildering Powers of The Pilgrim were used to promote the growing power of the Church. One must ask, was he promoting Jahola's Goodness with such powers?
